Ly Hour Microfinance Institution Plc.is providing opportunities to Cambodian people to start up and expand their businesses to improve the standard of living through appropriate microfinance services. Now its operation is mainly conducted in Phnom Penh City, Kandal, Takeo, Pursat, Prey Veng, Kompong Speu, Kampong Cham, Battambang, Tboung Khmum, Ratanakiri, and we are planning to set up some more branches in Kampot, Kampong Chhnang, Siem Reap, Kratie, and Mondulkiri. In the soon future, we are going to expand our operation to all the 25 provinces in Cambodia.
Ly Hour MFI is currently looking for a dynamic, energetic, committed and experienced candidate to fill in the vacancy of position as below.
- Report: Internal Audit Manager/CIAO
- Department: Internal Audit Department
- Participating in conducting of internal audit where it has been indicated on the approved master plan for operations at branch and head office level;
- Providing immediate recommendations on deficiencies/ non-compliances of operational audits to IAM &CIAO;
- Assisting the internal audit team in collection all necessary data and preparation of risk profiling;
- Preparing draft Correction Action Plan on his/her findings and discussing those deficiencies/ findings with IA supervisor aiming for final reporting to IAM &CIAO so as the recommendations shall be raised to improve for internal controls, and rectify weaknesses highlighted.
- Other tasks may be required by superior from time to time.
- University degree in banking/finance, accounting, business, or economics, preferably a specialized accounting degree;
- Have two year experience as auditor in the microfinance/ banking/ audit sector is an advantage;
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, team members and management in both written and verbal form,
- Have great attention to detail;
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to comfortable communicate to all levels of managements;
- Knowledge of accounting and auditing principle/standards, and familiarity with various computer systems and applications;
- Must possess highly developed analytical skills and the ability to think creatively about ways to analyze MFI’s operations;
- Be willing to travel and working in the province if required.
