WVS Cambodia, formerly known as Animal Rescue Cambodia, is a locally registered charity with the mission to create sustainable animal welfare for dogs and cats in Cambodia. We focus on three programs:
- Community Veterinary Clinic/Shelter
- Mission Rabies Cambodia
- International Training Center (ITC)

- Manage the implementation of new/current SOPs and compliance with international shelter and veterinary standards as outlined by ASV and similar guidelines.
- Manage all aspects of animal pathway planning through the clinics/shelter system - including the surgical training program, pre-sheltering program, intake management, TNVR projects, rehoming/foster program, clinic appointments and in-patient management.
- Manage outreach and community engagement activities, such as household surveys and treatment and TNVR visits.
- Manage WVS’ data collection, evaluation and reporting.
- Closely coordinate with the Communications and Fundraising Team to prepare social media posts and communication materials.
- Ensure high standard customer service, external communication and community support.
- Oversee the clinic teams and manage staff schedules, trainings, performance evaluations and staff satisfaction and growth.
- Manage veterinary student training schedules and ensure qualitative and effective training.
- Oversee and manage overall daily operations at the community clinic/shelter and the ITC.
- Ensure the qualitative implementation of programs and KPIs.
- Closely work with the Country Director to achieve the goals of the organization.
- Be available on weekends and national holidays, as needed.
- English - Fluent
- Excellent English language skills.
- Experience in Organizational Leadership.
- Several years of experience in the international NGO sector.
- Management experience including project and human resource management.
- Experience in the animal welfare and/or veterinary sector is preferred.
- Experience working effectively in an intercultural setting, particularly Cambodia.
- Khmer language skills are a plus.
- Comfortable using modern tools and technology: Trello, Slack, SharePoint, MS Office, etc.
- Proactive self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Interested in positive workplace psychology.
- Strategic and solution-oriented forward thinker, who sees the bigger picture, and strives for excellence.
- Is self-organized, follows procedures and works with attention to detail.
- Meets deadlines and creates structured and logical output.
