Australia Young Leaders Academy (AYLA) in partnership with Paññāsāstra International School, is an educational organization committed to developing high-quality learning pathways for children and young people across Cambodia. Through this collaboration, AYLA delivers a comprehensive model of education that integrates general academic programs, leadership development, teacher professional training, and whole-school improvement initiatives.AYLA supports multiple campuses and partner schools by offering structured programs from early childhood through senior secondary education, ensuring continuity in academic excellence and student leadership development.
AYLA integrates the Cambodian National Curriculum, the Western Australian Curriculum, and Chinese language learning to ensure students receive a balanced and internationally aligned education. The organisation also provides specialised programs in digital literacy, coding, mathematics, and extracurricular activities that support holistic development.
AYLA delivers professional learning, mentoring, and leadership development for teachers and school leaders across the AYLA partner schools.
AYLA emphasises academic excellence, professional standards, and sustainable growth. It aims to create a supportive learning environment where students thrive, teachers are well prepared, and schools operate with clear systems and strong governance.
- HR Administration & Operations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and tracking, personnel files, and HR databases
- Prepare HR documents including employment contracts and extension, appointment letters, confirmations, transfers, warnings, and termination letters
- Manage staff attendance, leave records, timesheet, and probation tracking
- Support payroll preparation by coordinating employee data, attendance, and changes
- Support the HRD with staff annual and mid-year and end year evaluations
- Support the HRD to ensure performance improvement plans are in place when needed.
- Crisis management
- Support the HRD with crisis prevention plan
- Control and manage resources.
- Built a system to manage resources (physical).
- Recruitment & Onboarding Support
- Coordinate the recruitment activities including JD/KPI preparing, job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication for all AYLA and Partner School campuses
- Assist with onboarding and orientation for new hires, ensuring completion of documentation and induction programs with proper record under each staff HR personal file
- Coordinate pre-employment due diligence checks and required documentation for staff and teachers.
- Employee Services & Coordination
- Act as a first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from staff
- Support employee relations activities and escalate issues to the HR Director when required
- Assist in organizing staff engagement activities, meetings, and internal communications.
- HR Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure HR records comply with the Cambodia Labor Law, Ministry of Education requirements, and internal HR handbook, Code of Conduct, Child Safeguarding and protection policies etc
- Support HR audits, inspections, and reporting requirements
- Assist HR Director in updating HR policies, procedures, and staff handbook.
- Training & Development Coordination
- Coordinate training sessions, workshops, and professional development programs
- Track training attendance, completion, and evaluation records
- Support logistics for internal and external training activities.
- HR Reporting & Data Management
- Support the HRD with the HR figure for regular HR reports (Recruitment & selection, CEFR Test Preparation, Ongoing Progress Project, Planning, headcount, turnover, leave, recruitment status)
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of HR information
- Support HR systems and digital record management initiatives.
- Culture, Employee Relations, and Well-Being
- Support the HR Director to Build a positive and professional culture aligned with AYLA values
- Facilitate communication between the HRD and staff
- Coordinate staff engagement programs and recognition initiatives
- Support the HR Director to promote staff well-being and mental health support initiatives.
- Systems, Data, and Reporting
- Coordinate the development of AYLA’s HR digital system and staff app
- Ensure accurate HR data management for reporting and decision-making
- Coordinate and prepare monthly HR reports for the HRD
- Coordinate and Monitor KPIs for recruitment, retention, performance, and staff satisfaction.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Education, Law or related field
- Experience in HR administration or coordination role for 4 years as a minimum
- Experience in education or school environments is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of labor law and HR procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office, G-suit, and HR systems
- Strong organizational and coordination skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
- Time management and multitasking ability
- Team-oriented with a service mindset
