The Cambodia University of Technology and Science (CamTech) was established in 2021 with the vision of becoming a leading university in technology and science to support Cambodia’s future prosperity. Located in Chroy Changva Satellite City, Phnom Penh, CamTech maintains strong links between higher education, industry, and applied research.
- Develop and implement library strategies in line with the University’s mission and strategic plan.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual library budget, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Lead, supervise, and develop library staff, ensuring appropriate training and continuous professional development.
- Manage and maintain the library collection, ensuring best practices in acquisition, classification, cataloguing, processing, stocktaking, and weeding.
- Ensure efficient access to physical and digital library resources to support students, faculty, and researchers.
- Oversee library systems, ICT, and information services to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
- Stay informed of developments in librarianship, information systems, and technology through professional engagement and continuous learning.
- Establish and maintain relationships with academic departments, research units, and external information organizations.
- Ensure library policies, procedures, and services meet institutional and quality assurance standards.
- Master's Degree in Library and Information Science or a related field.
- Professional library experience, including leadership or management roles for 5 years as a minimum
- Strong knowledge of academic library operations, digital resources, and information systems.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strategic planning and budget management
- Staff leadership and team development
- Knowledge of modern library technologies and systems
- Strong service-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
