Program Overview
Helen Keller Intl is committed to placing women at the forefront of healthcare systems, ensuring gender equity and responsiveness in maternal and child health and nutrition interventions within low-and middle-income countries. Our GAC-funded project will contribute to improving women’s access to key lifesaving nutrition interventions in Cambodia, Senegal, and Kenya in harmony with a larger 12-country program funded by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

We are currently seeking a two highly skilled and dedicated data collectors to play a crucial role in supporting our new project, funded by Global Affairs of Canada (GAC).
- Data Collectors
- Actively participate in data collection training and field tests.
- Assist Helen Keller Intl Cambodia’s M&E team in developing a data collection schedule.
- Collect data according to the approved study protocol’s procedures and schedule.
- Maintain the quality of the collected data throughout the study by adhering to the approved study protocol.
- Submit collected data (using a tablet system or hard copies) promptly to the gender research lead, and according to the approved study protocol.
- Maintain all survey equipment and materials in good condition.
- Maintain confidentiality of all collected data according to the approved study protocol.
- Assist the gender research specialist and M&E team in developing data entry forms, as required.
- Assist with data transcription, translation and coding, as required.
- Enter quantitative and qualitative data into a database alongside the gender research specialist and M&E team, as required.
- Attend meetings with the gender research specialist and team, as required, to discuss field issues and any revisions needed to the project work plan.
- Liaise with local authorities and stakeholders upon request of the gender research specialist and M&E team.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships and lines of communication with other Helen Keller Intl team members.
- Relevant qualifications in research, public health, nutrition, or a related field. Technical knowledge of nutrition and public health programs preferred.
- At least two years of quantitative and qualitative research experience in rural Cambodia. Experience with participatory research methods preferred.
- Excellent communication and language skills - candidates must be fluent in Khmer (oral and written) and working proficiency in English (oral and written).
- Strong experience in, and understanding of, the Cambodian context.
- Strong interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with study participants.
- Willingness to work in rural provinces/areas.
