The Institut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is a Cambodian non-for-profit research institution established in 1953, IPC is today a scientific research establishment declared of public utility placed under the high patronage of the Ministry of Health of the Kingdom of Cambodia and under the responsibility of the Institute Pasteur on the scientific and technical levels. The IPC is a member of the Pasteur Network, which brings together 33 institutes present on five continents. It shares the Pasteurian values and the ethical charter to which the Pasteur Institutes are bound. The IPC has more than 300 employees, including about 30 expatriates of 22 nationalities and includes 6 research units. It carries out research activities in health biology, public health and service activities (Medical Biology Laboratory, vaccinations and water and food analyses) and training.
The lnstitut Pasteur du Cambodge (IPC) is recruiting a full time Medical Secretary within the reception at the Medical Biology Laboratory.
- Medical Secretary
- Welcoming patients in person and on the phone
- Informing patients about sampling procedures
- Recording files in the Laboratory Information System
- Transmitting results
- Handling billing and collections
- Participating in the organization and coordination of internal and external information
- Participating in the quality process: reading documents, writing non-conformity and complaint reports
- Manage communication with clients through laboratory social media platforms.
- High School Diploma with prior experience in a laboratory setting or front desk role,
- OR a qualified Medical Laboratory Technician seeking to transition into a secretarial position.
- Experience in a healthcare or laboratory setting preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a strong advantage.
- Recent graduates in medical or laboratory-related fields are welcome to apply.
- Language: Excellent communication skills in Khmer and English or French (spoken and written)
- Familiar with the computer use (Word, Excel) and social media (Facebook, Telegram).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural and scientific environment.
