ABOUT ISPP - ISPP is Cambodia's first and leading international school. Established in 1989 as a not-for-profit, parent-governed school, ISPP has a strong tradition of serving families seeking an international education in Phnom Penh. ISPP offers a three-programme International Baccalaureate curriculum to nearly 900 students from age 3 to Grade 12. We are Cambodia's most diverse school community with more than 50 nationalities represented, celebrating our diversity and offering meaningful service to our local and global communities.
- Collaborative Goal Tracking: Partnering with families, general educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists to fulfill the student's Success Plan.
- Provide constant supervision to minimize safety concerns for the student or peers, while actively working toward fading support and increasing independence and appropriate social interactions.
- Clear communication: update family, implement recommendations from staff, suggest changes to support the student.
- Khmer - Fluent
- English - Fluent is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Psychology, or Child Development
- Prior experience working with young children, specifically those with autism or developmental delays.
- Experience in collecting and interpreting data to address challenging behaviors.
- Knowledge of adapting curriculum to ensure access
- Behavioral training such as ABA or augmentative and communication AAC training or experience is a plus
- Language: Khmer native language candidates with strong English skills are preferred.
Important to note that, whilst the Learning Coach’s work will be in the classroom context and be guided by members of the Student Success Plan team, the service agreement and payment arrangements would be directly with the parents. The Learning Coach would not have a contract directly with ISPP.
