- Leadership and team management
- Supervise and lead a sales team to achieve sales target by month / yearly.
- Ensure achievement of SKU distribution target.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
- Motivate the team through goal-setting and incentives.
- Assign tasks and manage schedules for the sales department.
- Optimize resources to enhance territory performance.
- Sales and operations
- Develop and implement sales strategies and initiatives to increase revenue
- Track and analyze sales data to report on performance and KPIs to management
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering and restocking products
- Ensure correct product pricing and attractive store displays
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Customer relations and problem-solving
- Handle escalated customer inquiries, complaints, and returns
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Monitor sales activities to ensure customer satisfaction and quality service.
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred, though not always a strict requirement. An associate degree can also be beneficial.
- Typically requires of successful sales experience, sometimes in a specific industry for 2 to 3 years
- Leadership experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or informal leadership role, such as mentoring new hires, is often required.
- Technical skills: Proficiency with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) is usually required.
- Coaching and mentoring: The ability to coach and develop the skills of sales representatives is a key responsibility.
- Computer skills: Proficient computer skills, especially with MS Excel and PowerPoint, are necessary.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills are essential for guiding and motivating a sales team.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal abilities, are crucial for interacting with team members and customers.
- Problem-solving: The ability to analyze problems and make effective decisions is necessary for overcoming challenges and maintaining momentum.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical capabilities are needed to interpret sales data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Goal-oriented: A results-oriented mindset and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets are important.
- Adaptability: The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is frequently mentioned.
