Founded in 2014, Melon Rouge Agency (MRA) is an independent creative agency based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, specializing in social impact and experience design. We focus on projects that require creative thinking and personalized approaches. Strategy is at the core of everything we do, guiding every phase from initial ideation through to project management and final execution. - Digital Communication Manager
- Lead Digital Content Strategy: Co-develop and execute digital and social content strategies, ensuring alignment with campaign goals and delivering successful outcomes.
- Manage Campaign Execution: Oversee the development and implementation of digital campaigns, ensuring narratives align with communications and advocacy objectives.
- Evaluate Campaign Performance: Monitor and assess the effectiveness of campaigns using key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive insights and improvements across digital channels.
- Oversee Web and Social Media Presence: Manage MRA’s online platforms, ensuring timely updates, optimized content, and impactful storytelling.
- Share Knowledge and Trends: Co-develop and manage tools and processes to disseminate concise insights on digital and social media trends—spanning tech, culture, and behaviour—to keep MRA colleagues and clients informed and inspired.
- Web: Collaborate on web projects as needed, whether for specific initiatives or to support the agency's broader workflow requirements.
- Business Development: Represent the agency during initial discussions and commercial negotiations when required. They contribute to converting client briefs into comprehensive commercial proposals, detailing the project's phases, and providing accurate cost estimates.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in digital and social media communications.
- Previous experience in social impact, design, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Current knowledge of media habits, behaviors, and trends across urban and rural Cambodia, with a deep understanding of local audience dynamics.
- Fluency in English and Khmer (both written and spoken) is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record in collaborating effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent external communication skills, with the ability to engage clients and stakeholders clearly and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
