Phare Performing Social Enterprise (PPSE) is world record breaker, award winning and pioneering social business in Cambodia that tackles social issues and contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs). Primarily SDG number 1, Zero Poverty through youth skilling & employment in the cultural and creative industry and SGD number 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth. PPSE creates, produces and disseminates live performances, graphic designs, animation and other cultural products in Cambodia and abroad. PPSE artists come from difficult social and economic backgrounds and have benefited from the training provided by the Phare Ponleu Selpak Association (PPSA) who has helped young marginalized Cambodians transform their lives through arts for more than 30 years. PPSE sees artistic creativity as a strategic asset for the development of a flourishing society and a vibrant economy. It creates high-quality jobs, secures tourism benefits for the benefit of the local population, strengthens the Cambodian cultural identity and improves access to education for marginalized young people.
- Direct ticket sales, voucher exchange, and online bookings service to clients and agents at the main counter to register into POS system. This implies welcoming the clients, provides them with all request information,
- To handle all the incoming and outgoing correspondence, e-mails concerning seating reservations,
- Double check daily, weekly, and monthly reservations to make sure all the bookings are accurate lodging into the system
- Prepare the POS reports including cash, invitations, vouchers, online, commission, credits Cards,
- Actively prepare the venue, including seating arrangements, gifts, and welcome props, ensuring it is hygienic and tidy.
- Welcome arriving guests and escort them to their assigned seating sections.
- Assist guests during incidents. The employee commit to be trained and refresh emergency procedures as needed.
- collaborate to ensure the safety and comfort of the audience and artists during the circus performance.
- assist sales in the Phare boutique
- thank the audience for their visit; and direct them to the exit.
- Any duties and responsibilities upon requirement by line manager
- English - Good
- Tourism and customer services experience required
- Strong customer focus and interpersonal skills for building rapport
- understand clearly the customer's needs
- Experience with office technology tools for reservations is prioritized
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances or last-minute requests
- Good English communication: speaking and writing.
- Self-motivated, proactive and flexible, friendly working environment.
- Able to work under pressure and demanding work environment
- Punctual, hardworking and ability to work as the team is an essential.
- Dynamic, Pro-active, Honest, good behavior, reliable person and highly responsible
