Phare Performing Social Enterprise (PPSE) is world record breaker, award winning and pioneering social business in Cambodia that tackles social issues and contribute to Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs). Primarily SDG number 1, Zero Poverty through youth skilling & employment in the cultural and creative industry and SGD number 8 Decent Work and Economic Growth. PPSE creates, produces and disseminates live performances, graphic designs, animation and other cultural products in Cambodia and abroad. PPSE artists come from difficult social and economic backgrounds and have benefited from the training provided by the Phare Ponleu Selpak Association (PPSA) who has helped young marginalized Cambodians transform their lives through arts for more than 30 years. PPSE sees artistic creativity as a strategic asset for the development of a flourishing society and a vibrant economy. It creates high-quality jobs, secures tourism benefits for the benefit of the local population, strengthens the Cambodian cultural identity and improves access to education for marginalized young people.
- The Shop Supervisor scope of work comprised of but not limited to:
- Guarantee a clean, attractive, and well-organized shop environment before opening (including neat product display and dust-free surfaces).
- Deliver customer experience services such as Phare Insider tours, public speaking, reservation handling, and arts workshops.
- Foster close collaboration within the Customer Experience Team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Create and maintain a respectful, harmonious, and motivating work environment for all team members.
- Supervise and coordinate team members to ensure efficient boutique operations.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare daily/monthly reports on sales and performance.
- Train and motivate team members to achieve targets.
- Any duties and responsibilities upon requirement by line manage
- Khmer
- English
- Bachelor's Degree in Management or a related field such as Tourism
- Experience in retail or supervisory role for 3 years as a minimum
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and POS systems.
- Knowledge of visual merchandising and team development is a plus.
- Excellent in English and Khmer, spoken and written
- Proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
- Strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitasks.
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving skills.
- Dynamic, Pro-active, Honest, good behavior, reliable person and highly responsible.
