Since 2008, SALASUSU (formerly Kamonohashi Project) has operated a vocational training workshop and school, providing employment and soft skills education to women from impoverished families in rural Cambodia through its community factory project. This innovative initiative focuses on empowering women by equipping them with the skills and confidence to build self-sufficient lives. Over the years, more than 250 women have graduated, secured jobs, started businesses, and built better futures for themselves and their families.
To further this mission, SALASUSU is evolving its community factory into a community laboratory education school over the next five years, deepening its impact while adapting to changing needs. As part of this growth, in 2021, SALASUSU registered an additional business entity to ensure full compliance with government regulations while expanding operations.
