We are currently seeking the qualified and competitive dynamic candidates to fill the following position(s) as below:

  • Donor Engagement & Relationship Management
  • Maintain regular communication with individual donors, local partners, foundations, and corporate supporters.
  • Support stewardship activities, including donor visits, acknowledgement letters, updates, and impact reporting.
  • Prepare donor briefs and background notes for meetings involving ND, DND, and senior leadership.
  • Assist in developing partnership packages tailored to corporate social responsibility (CSR) opportunities.
  • Proposal Development & Grant Support
  • Contribute to drafting concept notes, proposals, and budgets for local fundraising opportunities.
  • Coordinate with Program and M&E teams to gather data, stories, evidence, and success results for proposal inputs.
  • Track proposal deadlines, submission processes, and donor compliance requirements.
  • Support grant start-up activities, reporting schedules, and documentation.
  • Local Fundraising Campaigns
  • Support national fundraising campaigns, including digital fundraising, events, and public appeals.
  • Coordinate with Communications for online fundraising content, storytelling, and social media messaging.
  • Assist program locations in initiating community-level fundraising aligned with the NSP's community-based care expansion.
  • Monitor the performance of campaigns and provide regular updates to the FDC Manager.
  • Internal Coordination & Collaboration
  • Work closely with program teams to understand funding needs for FSP, youth development, education, and community outreach.
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure donor funds, budgets, and documentation are accurate and compliant.
  • Support alignment with international PSAs (Program Support Associations) when needed.
  • Donor Database & Documentation
  • Maintain an up-to-date donor database and ensure accurate record-keeping of donations, interactions, and follow-up tasks.
  • Support data collection for donor reports and annual fundraising summaries.
  • Help track trends in donor engagement and local fundraising.
  • Contribution to Strategic Priorities (NSP 2026–2028)
  • Support fundraising for scaling Family Strengthening Programs in new and existing communities.
  • Mobilize resources for the transition from Family-Like Care to community-based services.
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts for social enterprise feasibility studies and start-ups.
  • Strengthening local sustainability approaches, especially in education services, youth employability, and family empowerment.
  • Child Safeguarding Responsibilities
  • Adhere to SOS Children’s Village of Cambodia Child & Youth Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct.
  • Report any suspected safeguarding risks immediately.
  • Ensure all HR & payroll processes uphold safeguarding standards, especially regarding safe recruitment.
  • Working Relationships
  • Internal
  • Works closely with the Fund Development & Communications Manager for planning, guidance, and performance oversight.
  • Collaborates with the Communications team on campaigns, donor materials, and storytelling content.
  • Coordinates with Program teams, including Family Strengthening, Youth, Education, and Community-Based Care staff, to gather information for proposals and donor updates.
  • Engages with the M&E team to collect data, evidence, and results needed for donor reporting.
  • Works with the Finance team to ensure accurate budget inputs, financial tracking, and donor compliance.
  • Maintains regular communication with National Office colleagues and the project-level focal person.
  • External
  • Communicate with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and local supporters.
  • Coordinates with CSR departments, private sector partners, event organizers, and community networks.
  • Liaises with media partners and service providers for fundraising events and visibility activities when required.
  • Engages with relevant government or community stakeholders during fundraising initiatives, as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Development Studies, or another relevant field.
Work History:
  • At least of experience in fundraising, donor relations, partnership development, communications, or related work within NGOs or the private sector for 2 to 3 years
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • A related certification in fundraising, project management, communications, or nonprofit management is an advantage.
  • Experience in proposal writing, donor reporting, or managing CSR partnerships is an advantage.
  • Previous involvement in community-based programs, youth development, or social services is considered beneficial.
  • Experience working in a multicultural team or with multiple stakeholders is preferred.
  • Understanding of fundraising principles, donor trends, and CSR practices in Cambodia.
  • Familiarity with project cycle management, budgeting, and basic M&E concepts.
  • Knowledge of community-based care, family strengthening, and youth development is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of ethical storytelling and safeguarding communication standards.
  • Strong writing skills for proposals, donor updates, and communication materials.
  • Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills with donors and partners.
  • Ability to coordinate across teams and manage multiple tasks.
  • Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office and basic database management.
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate documentation.
