The Company’s core business is divided into three main categories: The tapioca starch and starch-related products, the food products, and the biodegradable products distributed to local as well as international markets, details as follows:
Tapioca products include tapioca starch, alpha starch, sago (or tapioca pearl), all of which are manufactured and sold by the Company and its subsidiaries, namely Thai Nam Tapioca Company Limited, D I Company Limited, Thai Wah Alpha Starch Company Limited, and Tay Ninh Tapioca Joint Stock Company.
Vermicelli and Noodle products include vermicelli, rice noodle, rice vermicelli, and mung bean starch noodles (Shanghai noodles) which are manufactured and sold by the Company, having vermicelli as its main product. The raw materials for vermicelli and the other noodle products are pea starch, potato starch, tapioca starch, and rice.
Biodegradable products; our tapioca-based TPS is derived from renewable feedstock with >90% bio content and better elongation suitable for flexible packaging application of mulch film, bags and other blown film applications. Our first generation of TPS compounds, suitable for end-of-life applications thermoforming, injection molding and extrusion, are unique blend of high performing biodegradable feedstock that are both industrial and home compostable.
- Quality Control and Quality Assurance Department Head
- Support and provide coaching for operation, new joiners, and supply chain functions to deliver the requisite food safety and hygiene standard meeting both local regulations and Thai Wah requirement
- Assist to identify opportunities for improvement in food safety and hygiene standards
- Establish Documentation and control of Tapioca starch production from Far to Customer.
- Manage Biogas, water treatment, chemical and physical laboratory, all technical and documents.
- Manage process changing related with Document changing or process.
- Manage import and export related with Finished good packaging, and all material related with both production and food safety.
- Manage and Control QMS (Technical support, Procedure, Quality manual, traceability, record keeping, product recall, complaint handing, documents control, product development, and role as QMR.)
- Participate in food safety and quality related complaint investigation.
- Site visit with Pest contractor on pest issue
- Conduct visit for new / refit / remodeled in the production site to the layout is correct refer to food safety flow
- Establish all the quality standards follow FSSC requirements and local regulation.
- Coordinate with cross department to find the solution once have NC report and identified the root cause and give away the suggestion for short and long term.
- Manage and coordinate document control related food safety work
- Review SOPs and update HACCP manual on food safety for operating
- Manage and Conduct root cause investigation for food safety and product quality issue (E.g., Product withdrawal and recall investigation) and feedback to sale team follow the instructions.
- Liaise regularly with stores concessions, supplier in terms of compliance & adoption of TWPC Investment (Cambodia) CO., LTD, food safety and hygiene requirements
- Engage with third party service providers e.g., chemicals, packaging, pest controls, FSSC 22000, Halal and laboratories, to support local market programs across Warehouse and production
- Support and update local Regulatory to up to date.
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma of General / Chemistry/Science / or rerated
- More than 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/Factory for QA/AC department and experience with ISO 9001:2015 and FSS22000.
- Good experience of communicating and work closely with cross department
- Good command of Cambodian and English language, both reading, writing, and speaking.
- English and computer skills are preferred. If can speak Thai will be priority.
