We are now looking for qualified candidate to fulfill the position below:
តួនាទីនិងការទទួលខុសត្រូវ
- Develop and lead UKMAC’s crop value-chain, market linkage, and commercialization strategy across member MACs.
- Conduct market analysis and demand forecasting to identify priority crops, buyer requirements, market trends, pricing, and commercial opportunities.
- Lead market-oriented production and supply planning, aligning crop volumes, quality, harvest timing, and delivery schedules with buyer demand.
- Develop and manage relationships with wholesalers, retailers, processors, exporters, institutional buyers, and other strategic markets.
- Lead negotiation and management of offtake agreements, supply contracts, and contract farming arrangements to secure sustainable markets for member MACs.
- Develop and coordinate aggregation, collection, grading, packaging, storage, transportation, and distribution systems from member MACs to markets.
- Monitor market prices, supply volumes, value-chain costs, margins, sales performance, and buyer fulfillment to improve competitiveness and member profitability.
- Coordinate with the Head of Agronomy to ensure crop selection, production plans, quality standards, and harvest schedules are technically feasible and aligned with market requirements.
- Identify opportunities for value addition, processing, packaging, branding, and new market development for UKMAC priority crops.
- Establish and strengthen commercial partnerships with buyers, processors, exporters, logistics providers, input suppliers, financial institutions, government agencies, and development partners.
- Establish and monitor value-chain and commercial KPIs, including contracted volumes, delivered volumes, rejection rates, sales value, market prices, margins, and supply performance.
- Prepare market intelligence, value chain performance reports, commercial risks, and strategic recommendations for the COO and senior management.

Languages:
- English - Good is required
- Khmer - Good
- Master's Degree is preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Agribusiness, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Agriculture, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a related field is required
- Crop Value Chain Specialist in Agribusiness and Farming for 5 to 10 years is required
- Proven experience in market linkage, buyer engagement, contract farming, aggregation, and agricultural supply planning.
- Strong understanding of crop markets, pricing, quality requirements, post-harvest handling, logistics, and agricultural value-chain economics.
- Proven ability to develop market-oriented production plans, commercial partnerships, supply agreements, and value-chain strategies.
- Experience working with farmers, agricultural cooperatives, agribusinesses, processors, wholesalers, retailers, exporters, or institutional buyers.
- Proficiency in Khmer and English, with willingness to travel regularly to member MACs, production areas, and markets.
- Strong commercial analysis, negotiation, stakeholder management, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
