Voice Cambodia Organization works directly with people in crisis in Cambodia to help them access food, shelter, healthcare, safety, education, and sustainable livelihoods. Voice works with over 500 people in crisis each year. Voice staff work out of two community centres located in Beoung Kak and Chouk Va. Our community centres provide a daily lunch program for hundreds of people and many of our clients live nearby these centres so clients regularly drop-in. Voice case workers are in contact with between 20 to 30 clients a day and conduct regular outreach visits to meet with clients and partners. The Voice Case Work Team meet regularly to ensure effective case management and collaboration, and to foster a supportive environment for both staff and clients.
- Act as the primary contact for individuals and families affected by Thalassaemia seeking support from Voice.
- Conduct client assessments and develop individual case plans using Voice's Client Collaboration Process.
- Provide case management, psychosocial support, and practical assistance to clients and their families.
- Assist clients to access blood transfusions, medications, surgery, healthcare, financial assistance, and other essential services.
- Work closely with doctors, hospitals, blood banks, and partner organisations to improve client outcomes.
- Coordinate volunteer blood donation activities in partnership with the National Blood Transfusion Centre and other organisations.
- Maintain accurate case notes and records using the OSCAR Case Management System.
- Monitor client progress through regular follow-up and ongoing assessment.
- Represent Voice and the Thalassaemia Assistance Project at meetings, training sessions, and public events.
- Advocate for improved prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and support for people affected by Thalassaemia in Cambodia.
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation in accordance with Voice policies.
- Participate in regular team meetings, supervision, and professional development.
- English - Good is required
- Khmer - Fluent is required
- Bachelor's Degree in Health, Nursing, Communications, Social Work, Psychology or related field is preferred
- Experience in case management, social work, counselling, psychology, nursing, public health, community development, or a related field.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trusting relationships.
- Strong organisation, planning, problem-solving, and case management skills.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing positively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Confidence working with hospitals, government agencies, NGOs, and community stakeholders.
- Fluent written and spoken Khmer, with good English communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional ethical standards.
- Demonstrated empathy and compassion for people living with chronic illness and families experiencing crisis.
- A genuine interest in improving the lives of people affected by Thalassaemia.
