WASH Skills Development Organization (WASH SDO) is a Non-Government Organization (NGO) with an underlying Cambodia by offering training, consulting, and advisory services, as well as supporting sector-wide learning and exchange. These activities have stimulated new organizations and entrepreneurs to plan, implement, and monitor WASH initiatives, supported existing organizations and entrepreneurs to increase the reach and quality of their WASH initiatives and ultimately increase the number of households with safe water, better hygiene and dignified sanitation. The WASH SDO was providing its service to 74 clients include UN agencies, Internal and local organization, government department and private companies as well.

Currently we are looking for a qualified candidate for the WASH Trainer position.

តួនាទីនិងការទទួលខុសត្រូវ
  • Education Program/ Resources Development
  • Engage with relevant stekholders to joint with key activities as need.
  • Conduct training need assessment with stakeholders.
  • Assist to develop training materials (Trainer manual, participant’s manual, slide presentation, video……)
  • Conduct training sessions for local practitioners, SMEs, and municipal staff.
  • Support ESC in technical training delivery (co-facilitation, translation, and contextualization).
  • Assist in developing SOPs and training materials in Khmer.
  • Facilitate practitioner group meetings (presentations, group work, and documentation).
  • Prepare training /workshop /meeting materials and plan (pre-test, post- test and feedback) in consultation with Executive Director.
  • Conduct training evaluation (through peer feedback, feedback from clients…) in order to improve for the next training course
  • Provide consulting support to key stakeholders related to training topics.
  • Branding/Positioning WASH SDO profile & Services
  • Promote WASH SDO service at the training and workshop or any public meeting
  • Build and maintain effective working relationship with Government departments, NGOS and CBOs private sector especially in the area of WASH through meeting and networking (possibly by electronic email and phone call)
  • Create annual learning network with existing or new clients on specific topic (and promote our training service and exploring their next plan)
  • Support to produce communication materials
  • Manage and prepare own monthly and annual planning and ensure the activities are carried out in accordance with the plan
  • Regularly provide information, share ideas, update current data, and share challenges issues faced to Executive Director.

Languages:
  • Khmer - Fluent
  • English is preferred
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Teaching accreditation certification
Work History:
  • Have a technical background in sanitation with experience for 5 years
Skills & Knowledge:General & Technical Skills
  • Experience in training delivery and facilitation skills and experience of teaching methodologies of adult learning
Soft Skills
  • Fluency in Khmer; English an advantage
  • Strong coordination and communication skills, building up Networking, teamwork and interpersonal.
