Natural Resource Management Law Review For the Supporting Forests and Biodiversity Project សំរាប់ Winrock International

Tasks

• Work closely with SFB Governance Team to gather inputs and experiences from SFB target provinces to suggest to NCDD-S and MoE Law Review Team;
• Work closely with NCDD-S and MoE Law Review Team on law review and provide inputs throughout NRM review process;
• Facilitate the organization of technical review meetings and consultations on amended NRM Laws to be led by NCDD-S and MoE Management;
• Prepare progress report on law review process to be submitted to NCDD-S and MoE, as well as SFB Management, detailing on further actions and support needs towards completion of this NRM law review process; and
• Work closely with Stoeung Treng Provincial Working Group (WG) on Development of Provincial 5-year Sustainable NRM Plan;
• Work closely with SFB Governance Team, in particular the existing part-time consultant, to collect SFB and SFB Partners’ experiences and lessons learned as inputs for provincial WG to be incorporated into the 5-year NRM Plan;
• Facilitate and organize stakeholders ‘consultation on draft STG Provincial 5-year Sustainable NRM Plan prior to its finalization;
• Write a 3-5 page consultancy report highlighting lessons learned from these two important processes as inputs for further actions of NCDD-S, MoE, SFB Management, and STG Provincial Leadership.

Deliverables

• Final Revised Forestry and Protected Area Laws;
• Final Draft of STG 5-year Sustainable NRM Plan, 2018-2022;
• Consultancy report describing on lessons learned and challenges faced during this consultancy.
