Position : Project Coordinator for BabyWASH Project
Location : Samrorng Area Program, Samrong Distric, Takeo Province
Salary: Competitive and negotiable
I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The overall purpose of this position is to manage the “ BabyWASH pilot Project” to ensure achievement of quality results as committed in the project design. The Project Coordinator will coordinate with Area Program team consisting of Technical Project Coordinator for Health/WASH and Transformational Development Facilitator to cost effective implementation of the actions outlines in the design.
- Prepare and revise annual budgets to response to project implementation with accountability.
- Monitor the construction of WASH infrastructure are following World Vision international-Cambodia WASH Manual.
- Promote teamwork among AP team in learning, training and spiritual nurture and to build a strong collaborative network among partners (CSOs and government) and community to support project implementation.
- To assist with WASH specialist and M&E team for project Baseline and Monitoring to ensure that all projects are reaching high quality of performance through coordinating implementing of technical program models.
- Support to prepare Annual and Semi-annual report writing to donor/Support office. Ensure community people have change behavioural on Sanitation & Hygiene, and good health practice through regular conduct awareness session in the target project.
As part of the World Vision International-Cambodia mandate requirements for new staff, all candidates who are offered job are required to produce Local Police Clearance Certificate prior to date of joining in the organisation.
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field in Rural Health Care, MCH, Project Management, Social Science.
- At least 2-year experience in WASH/Health/Nutirition
- At least 2 years in project management
- Experienced with working with partners especially OD, HCMC, PDRD, PoEYS, WASH NGOs
- Familiarity with the Nutrition guideline, Health policies and program aimed at improving BCC on WASH
- Excellent interpersonal , representational and networking skills and cross cultural sensitivities
