By October 2017, Amret has 154 branches located in 25 cities and provinces across Cambodia, a USD650 million-loan portfolio and USD342 million in deposits, serves some 415,000 customers and employs around 4,000 staff.
- Provide professional support on audit strategy to HIA to ensure that potential risks are properly identified and integrated into the annual audit plan
- Provide professional support on annual audit plan preparation to HIA and control annual and quarterly audit plans of units under supervision to ensure significant risks are covered by the Internal Audit Department and audit units responsible
- Control and review internal audit achievements of audit units under supervision to ensure that internal audit plans are achieved and the annual objective approved by the Audit committee
- Manage audit activities under supervision and provide training, coaching and refresher courses to new and existing auditors in order to ensure internal auditors can adapt to new audit methodology and achieve high quality internal audit results
- Support HIA in updating audit methodologies (charter, manual, procedures and programs) to ensure they are in line with Amret's growth strategy and best practice
- Review and support the development of internal audit procedures and programs in order to ensure their efficient and effective application in audit mission
- Prepare and draft quarterly consolidated audit reports making sure significant issues are identified and included in the reports with proper evidence, and submit to HIA within the required timeline
- Lead a culture of risk awareness and internal control under supervision to ensure that audit risks are identified and managed in a timely manner, and lead and motivate staff under supervision to give their best efforts and achieve best results by cultivating an open, honest and collaborative work environment
- Develop the annual objectives for audit units under supervision, make sure they are all in line with Amret's growth strategy, and submit to HIA for approval.
- Degree in Finance or Accounting Management, ACCA or other related fields
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in Audit function, preferably in bank or financial institution
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in managerial role
- Proficiency of analytical skill and foresee the risk, risk management, accounting, operations and compliance, and leadership
- Exposure to banking risk awareness and oversee the bank risk for giving concrete recommendation
- Good oral and written communication in Khmer and English
- Good management, analytical, critical and strategic thinking skills and able to work under pressure.
